When you’re considering a career in the healthcare industry, it’s easy to assume that they all require your physical presence. After all, it’s easy to think of only the traditional healthcare jobs that have been around for decades. You know the ones—nurses making the rounds in a hospital ward or clinic, doctors seeing patients in their office, and administrative professionals manning the front desk in an office type healthcare setting. But, over the course of 10 or 15 years, the Internet has turned the healthcare industry on its head, and jobs that were once only available outside of the home can now be performed nearly anywhere.
